Upcoming "Death Cross" for Russell 2000 ($IWM)

Bulls Take Friday's Finish As Breakouts Offer Excellent Risk:Reward Plays

It was a good close to the end of week. Bulls have set things up nicely for next week, to the point that even buying at the open might be worth a shot (assuming no major gap higher). The Russell 2000 ($IWM) offers good risk:reward using a stop on Thursday's lows.

The equal-weighted S&P has returned to challenging the inverse hammer with net bullish technicals. This is a good hold, particulary for those who bought the breakout retest at the end of July.

The S&P is another with a nice risk:reward play with measured risk off a loss of Thursday's lows. Technicals are net bullish and the index is no longer extended beyond its 200-day MA.

The Nasdaq also finished strong, but given the trading range it will take a little more to get out of this status quo.

Bitcoin is back in a net bullish state as it preps for a second run at 65,535. Technicals are net bullish and it feels like a test of the 200-day MA will come on the next push higher.

Things looking good for next week barring some unforseen Trump intervention. Risk:reward is very favorable and there is no overhead resistance.
