Another decent effort for the bulls, pushing the markets up slightly on higher volume. There is still some room to go before the February breakdown gaps are closed but it is enough to keep the bears away. The Trade Ideas top 8 came in at a healthy 2 minutes ; although it took the full day to muster the "20-appearance" list. A quiet day considering - traders slow to get back their desks? The top 8 picks came in at a sluggish 9 minutes . The "20-appearance" list covered 2 hr 30 minutes . No major technical changes to report, positive backtests of the 50-day MAs would give bulls some impetus to step in and drive markets higher - the next few days will be telling. Further small gains get squeezed from the market, but things are looking toppy in the short term (and markets are still some way from reversing the late February/early March declines). Next week will probably see a flurry of action as the tension built in the last couple days worth of trading is released. The Trade Ideas scan top 8 picks covered 5 minutes (reasonable enough for bulls). The "20 appearance list" came in at a respectable 45 minutes . Buyers still willing to nab stocks at these levels.
